Committee Goals

The Public Benefits Steering Committee provides advisory guidance to support the implementation of the INVEST CLEAN project while elevating community priorities that help amplify emission reductions and improve quality of life through better public health outcomes, and access to workforce training and jobs.

The seven-member committee represents Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties--including the Coachella Valley and the High Desert. It also includes workforce expertise from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

The committee will meet quarterly to discuss initiatives that benefit communities impacted by goods movement and logistics.

Their goal is to help make sure INVEST CLEAN benefits the communities that need it most.
